The Challenge

The equestrian community lacked a dedicated, trustworthy digital marketplace for buying and selling horses. Existing generic platforms didn't support the specialist needs of horse traders — detailed breed and discipline filters, seller verification, high-quality photo listings, and the ability to negotiate and communicate securely within the platform.

Our Solution

We built My Horse Trade as a full-featured two-sided marketplace using React and Node.js. Sellers can create rich listings with multiple photos, breed details, training history, and asking price. Buyers use advanced filters to narrow by breed, discipline, age, price, and location. Stripe handles secure transactions, and a seller verification system builds trust across the community.
