The Challenge

A direct lender was operating their entire loan business through manual processes — loan applications came in via email or in-person forms, approval decisions were made by spreadsheet analysis, repayment tracking was handled through phone calls, and there was no borrower self-service at all. The team was spending most of their time on administrative tasks rather than growing the loan book. The client needed a purpose-built lending web application where borrowers could apply, get approved, and self-manage their loans — while lenders had a full back-office system to review, approve, and monitor the portfolio without the manual overhead.

Our Solution

We built GTR LOAN using React for a clean borrower-facing frontend and Django for a secure, scalable back-office. Borrowers create verified profiles, submit loan applications with required documentation, and track approval status in real time — no phone calls needed. Once approved, borrowers view their full repayment schedule, make payments, and access their complete transaction history from their dashboard. On the lender side, a feature-rich admin panel displays all applications in the pipeline with applicant profiles, credit information, and document uploads — enabling reviewers to approve, decline, or request more information with one click. All data is encrypted, and access is protected with role-based permissions.
